I cannot even tell you how wonderful my writers are… We have been working on reading and writing quality essays. They each have a “claim”, they are supporting them and the essays are amazing! Over the past few days we have been working hard at collecting and writing the pieces to our essays. The kids wrote mini-personal narratives, stories from an outside source, and made lists to prove their point. Today we spent some time cutting and pasting all of our pieces in preparation for writing our drafts. I am amazed at their work! Here they are in action…
