March is Reading Month – Special Visitor
We are in the middle of March is Reading Month and we have left Planet Earth and traveled to Planet Semloh (Holmes-backwards) for the month of March. Anyway, we have been adding time to our reading at school and at home and we are enjoying it too! We had a special visitor last week in fourth grade. It was our very own leader of Planet Semloh, Mrs. Keeton! We all headed over to Ms. VandenBosch’s room where Mrs. Keeton had a few books for us to listen to and then we each had a chance to vote on our favorite book. We are waiting anxiously to hear which book was the most popular in the school and the most popular in the fourth grade. Keep those kids reading at home! It makes a difference. Look below to see Mrs. Keeton in action! A special thanks to our Team Smits’ Photographers… You did a great job!

Dear Mrs. Smits Class,
I can’t wait to hear what the most popular book in 4th grade is!!! I wonder if it is going to be one of the Diary of a Wimpy kid books, they are very popular at our house. Keep up the great work!
