First Week Back…

Yes, I know, I know… It is the second week back after Christmas break, but I wanted to give you a little glimpse into a couple of things we did on the first week back. We jumped back into studying natural resouces, worked hard in our reading groups, did some “math stunts…be sure to ask about those… and ended the week by going over to the administration offices to play our recorders. December was Holmes Kindness and Caring month (we are kind and caring ALL the time, but this was the month to do something kind and care above and beyond…) so the fourth graders decided to work on some Holiday songs to play on their recorders with Mrs. Ireland in music and go to perform them before break. The weather did not cooperate and we had a snowday, so instead we played them when we got back. I have included the pictures of some of our first week back and a short “music” video. I hope break was relaxing for everyone! Happy 2009!
